To achieve the best performance, reliability and consistency from our ECU calibration software, we recommend supporting hardware upgrades. While Stage 1 software can be safely run on a standard vehicle, optimising airflow and engine efficiency through carefully selected components will maximise results when paired with our Stage 1+ calibration.
Our Stage 1 ECU calibration is designed to work with a standard vehicle and optimises ignition timing and pedal mapping to improve mid-range performance and drivability.
No hardware changes are required, although a high-flow replacement filter within the OE airbox is recommended.
This upgrade also includes our Stage 1+ calibration which is suitable for vehicles running a high-flow intake and also optimises ignition timing and pedal mapping to improve drivability, together with both mid-range and top-end performance enhancements.
Should only be used when a high-flow intake is fitted - GT101 / JLT, for example.
Quite literally in this case, as the GT101 FLASHlink OBD adaptor provides a convenient interface for installing compatible GT101 Stage 1 and Stage 1+ ECU software directly through the vehicle's diagnostic port.

The following software calibrations are supplied with your device and can be installed individually to provide a range of engine performance options. Two primary calibration files are included, each designed to enhance engine power or torque characteristics - depending on the hardware installed.
Within each of these primary files, additional adjustments are made to the vehicle’s factory drive modes, allowing further variation in vehicle behaviour and performance.
Optimised STAGE 1 ECU calibration designed to maximise power and engine torque output, improving low and mid range pulling power, pedal mapping and overall drivability.
Optimised STAGE 1+ ECU calibration designed to maximise power and engine torque output when used with an aftermarket intake kit, further improving mid-range and top-end performance, pedal mapping and overall drivability.
Allows the vehicle to be electronically immobilised via the ECU, preventing the engine from starting for added security.
Restores the ECU back to its original factory calibration, returning the vehicle to OEM power and operating parameters.
The GT101 FlashLink device is designed to offer more than just performance gains, incorporating a range of advanced features that provide greater control, insight and flexibility. From real time data logging and fault code diagnostics to custom calibration updates developed by our in-house team and delivered via the app, these functions enhance both the usability of the device and the overall driving experience.
Enables real time monitoring and recording of engine and vehicle performance data, allowing accurate analysis of key parameters for diagnostics and calibration refinement.
Allows the device to read and identify fault codes stored within the vehicle’s ECU, helping to quickly diagnose issues and understand potential engine or system faults.
Provides direct access to our in-house calibration team, allowing bespoke adjustments to your ECU calibration. This includes tailored changes to features such as throttle response, torque and power delivery, ensuring the vehicle is set up to suit your exact preferences.
