Developed as a high-performance upgrade over standard replacement pads, Pedders SportsRyder Kevlar Ceramic Front Brake Pads deliver increased braking performance while retaining the refinement required for road use.
Using a performance-focused Kevlar ceramic compound incorporating carbon fibre, the SportsRyder pads are engineered to maintain a high coefficient of friction under demanding conditions and resist the high-temperature glazing that can contribute to brake fade. The result is strong, consistent braking performance and a reassuring pedal feel whether the Mustang is being used for everyday road driving or more enthusiastic use.
They are the ideal partner for the Pedders SportsRyder slotted and dimpled brake discs, creating a matched braking upgrade for Mustang owners looking for improved performance without the compromises often associated with more aggressive track-focused brake compounds.
Pedders' Kevlar ceramic formulation has been designed to combine increased stopping performance with low levels of brake dust and noise. The ceramic-based friction material helps keep wheels cleaner, while dual rubber-backed shims are used to reduce vibration and brake noise.
The pads are also thermally scorched during manufacture to promote faster bedding-in and are positive moulded and hot pressed to provide consistent friction density throughout the pad material.
For customers upgrading to Pedders SportsRyder slotted and dimpled Mustang brake discs, these pads provide the natural matching friction material.
Together, the SportsRyder disc and pad combination provides improved heat management, braking consistency and stopping performance while remaining suitable for a Mustang that is regularly driven on the road.
The result is a well-balanced brake upgrade rather than an unnecessarily aggressive track setup - particularly well suited to fast-road Mustang GT applications.
